Barista – Part Time / Full Time

LJ Grind is a newly opened independent café in the heart of Loughborough Junction, serving high-quality coffee, fresh pastries and a welcoming community atmosphere. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for experienced baristas to join our friendly team on a part-time or full-time basis.

About the Role

We’re looking for confident, friendly baristas who can deliver excellent coffee and great customer service in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in shaping the customer experience and maintaining the standards we’re building LJ Grind around.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing high-quality espresso-based drinks (flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.)
* Dialling in grinders and maintaining coffee consistency
* Providing warm and professional customer service
* Taking orders and handling payments
* Keeping the workspace clean and organised
* Supporting with opening and closing duties

Requirements

* Previous barista experience is essential
* Confident using commercial La Marzzoco machines
* Good milk texturing skills and basic latte art
* Friendly, reliable, and punctual
* Able to work well under pressure and independently
* Team player with a positive attitude

Pay

£13–£14 per hour **depending on experience**
