Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Barista/Café Supervisor to support the management in the daily operations of our fast paced and successful café in Chelsea. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective leadership skills, ensure safety standards, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
• Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Train, develop, and manage staff to uphold service standards and enhance team performance.
• Ensure accurate transactions using POS systems such as Epos Now.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Assist in budgeting processes related to front-of-house operations.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe environment.
• Strong knowledge of food&drinks safety regulations and best practices in food&drinks handling.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Epos Now) for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
• Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes is an asset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and skills. Service charges and tips are paid in addition to hourly rate.
