Versatile All-Rounder: Chef and Barista at Albers, De Beauvoir Block

We're seeking a multi-talented All-Rounder to join our team at Albers, located in the heart of the creative De Beauvoir Block in London. In this unique role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills as a Chef while also crafting exceptional coffee beverages as a Barista. This is a chance to be part of a thriving community, serving the 250+ tenants of De Beauvoir Block.

As our All-Rounder, you'll be responsible for creating humble, hearty meals using quality ingredients in our private restaurant setting. You'll also be the friendly face behind our coffee bar, ensuring our tenants start their day with a perfect cup of coffee. We're looking for someone who is passionate about both food and coffee and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of wholesome, flavourful dishes
- Craft and serve high-quality coffee
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen and coffee station
- Engage with our community of tenants, providing warm and attentive service
- Collaborate with the Albers team to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, with a willingness to learn and grow as a Barista
- Passion for creating delicious, nourishing meals and crafting excellent coffee
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Alignment with Albers' values of community, quality, and care

We offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £14-16 per hour
- 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm
