We are an independent café inside one of London’s best bookshops. We have a large local following and a reputation for fresh food, beautiful teas and good coffee.

We are recruiting now for a full-time person who can work alongside a small core team doing the usual café things - taking orders, preparing food, making coffee, managing stock rotation, increasing sales along with back of house skills such as approving invoices, making food orders, stock taking and management and creating menu items.

Generally 5 shifts a week, daytime hours includes Saturdays. There are occasional Sunday for special events however normally we are closed Sunday and Monday.

We are looking for someone who is:

· Experienced in working in a café

· Enthusiastic and self-motivated

· Able to offer excellent customer service

· Punctual and reliable

· Able to support the Core Team

· A person who thrives in a busy but friendly environment

· Independent and forward thinking

· Creative

· Enjoys Food, Books and Culture

Applicants must have:

· Café experience

· Excellent front of house attitude

· Supervisory experience

· A working visa for the UK
