Hey there!

I am opening a little artisan coffee bar in the coming weeks. We're in the final stages and I'm looking for a Head Barista to look after the bar. It's a small, very manageable work space with a brand new La Marzocco coffee machine, a small space for pastries, and a fresh-doughnut making machine. We're not up and running just yet, but we'll be ready to hit the ground running by around mid-September.

You'll be responsible for the following:

- Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages for our customers.
- There are no other coffee shops in the market, so developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating our customers will be key to growing awareness about our artisan coffee.
- Taking customer orders and receiving payment.
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment (no one deserves to be served food or drink from an unclean machine/work station).
- Following health and safety guidelines.
- Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders with our suppliers.
- Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items.
- Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance.
- The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays.
- Contributing to a positive work environment.

I'm looking for someone who is reliable, excited about introducing artisan coffee to our local area, and being part of a new project.
