Purpose of post :
The Operations Lead will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day running of the Mobile BSL Dialogue Cafe.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
1-The Mobile Cafe
*Staffing the cafe shop and helping maximize sales.
*Scheduling shifts for Baristas and staff.
*Ordering supplies like coffee, milk, snacks, etc.
*Assisting customers, process sales and payments where necessary. *Fulfilling orders and manage inventory using point of sale software.
2-Barista Training
*Training the Barista candidates.
*Training requires also on the job training.
3-Staff Supervision
*Supervising Baristas.
4-Van management
*Driving the minivan from the parking lot to the market area and from the market area to the parking lot every day. This role will be shared with one of the team members.
*Ensuring effective control and running of the Mobile Cafe on a day-to-day basis.
*Undertake the management of the annual van maintenance schedule. *Ensuring best value for money with utilities and goods purchased. *Managing equipment and resources inventory alongside procurement and maintenance as required.
