If you live around the Finsbury Park area you will have heard of Common Ground. We are a vibrant and busy cafe/eatery in Stroud Green, known for its fantastic garden, well loved vegetarian and vegan menu and weekend queues. We also serve the best coffee in the local area.

We’re looking for a Front of House / Barista to join our friendly team. The role will involve general Front of House duties in our dine-in eatery as well as working as a barista serving both our dine-in and takeaway customers. We serve Dark Arts coffee and use great quality milk from the Estate Dairy.

You will have the following qualities:

- Good coffee making and latte art skills
- Able to deal with the buzz of busy service (we can get very busy at weekends)
- Great people skills and a team player with a positive outlook
- Be reliable, supportive of your team teams and keen to learn
- A multi-tasker who can cover a range of roles - servicing tables, running food/coffee, jumping on the coffee machine, making cocktails
Not afraid to muck in and share the less glamorous jobs such as the end of day close
- Able to commit to weekend shifts
- Friendly and welcoming - keen to get to know our customers.

- Competitive salary of £12 to £12.50 an hour – this includes service charge allocation
