About us:
We are an independent coffee chain serving East London since 2009, we operate over three locations, seven days a week. We present a selection of breakfast and lunch food, but the main draw has always been the coffee: an exclusive custom blend that’s roasted locally by Climpson and Sons, consistently served with speed and a smile.
We opened our first location on Whitecross Street in the Autumn of 2009. Our second location opened on Curtain road in 2011 and most recently we opened our third store in Farringdon. From the eclectic soundtrack to the unique lighting and decor, FIX / Powerhouse coffee is a point of curiosity as soon as you walk through the door.
About the role:
No experience necessary / Diverse and inclusive working environment / No uniform / Attractive working environment / Certified in-house barista training / Advanced sensory training / Free access to premium coffee events / Free lunch / 28 days paid holiday a year (pro rata) / Flexible working hours / Merch & retail discounts
/ Serve premium coffee roasted locally, supporting local suppliers / Connect with and serve the local residents and business community / Great Summer & Christmas party
Requirements: No barista experience is necessary, we provide full training / Great communication skills / Positive and friendly attitude / Take pride in your presentation / Ability to work at a fast pace and think on your feet in a high-volume environment / Availability to work flexible hours - we offer flexible shifts scheduled every fortnight
