The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Victorian Field Sales Team in this newly created Territory Manager - New Business position. As a key member of our Sales team, you will champion new business and have laser focus on drving sales through the distribution and product visibility of the Bega Dairy & Drinks portfolio which includes white milk and chilled beverages. You will be engaging with Café’s, and Convenience stores across the Melbourne Bayside suburbs from Port Melbourne to Portsea. We would ideally be looking for a barista that is looking for a career change. This is an initial 12 month contract.

The Responsibilities

Winning new Bega Beverages customers

Creating an action plan to identify target customers in your region

Working with Territory Managers to generate and follow up on leads

Managing customer on-boarding from account set up to transition

Working with state leaders on the new business strategy, providing insights to drive growth

About you

Technical sales knowledge – structured sales methodology

Commercial knowledge - understanding market & industry dynamics, utilising volume, rate, and mix targets, pricing strategies

Strong sales experience, and ability to achieve targets, executed priorities within a structured call, increased distribution. 

Demonstrated courage and resilience to have constructive and challenging conversations

Ability to build relationships with customers based on value creation
