We are looking for passionate Baristas who will seek to provide outstanding quality and service whilst helping engage people in the wider Fresh Ground community events and activities.

Your role will include:

Welcoming customers and facilitating them to access both coffee house and community services.
Having a friendly disposition with members of the public, community groups and the Fresh Ground team, with a willingness to go the extra mile.
A passion for coffee and a desire to excel in skills; latte art; brewing etc.
Setting up and closing the shop in line with our policies and practises.
Selling coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
Preparing and selling coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, espresso macchiato, flat white, latte, and cappuccino.
Generating revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
Maintaining inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following organisation standards and hygiene regulations.
Emptying bins, cleaning toilets, etc.
Updating job knowledge by participating in training opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.
Busting tables
Serving drinks and food to tables.
